On my recent trip to the Netherlands I was very pleased to finally be able to pick up a copy of new Dutch cycling publication Soigneur. Soigneur covers everything about racing cycling from the amateur to the professional. The magazine is aimed at all cycling enthusiasts from the avid fan, the technician to the hard-core racers. While the publication is almost entirely in Dutch, there’s a lot to be taken away from it even if you’re not fluent. The photography and layout design in the magazine is world class; in my opinion, it is worth purchasing for the images alone. There are some very nice pieces featuring a number of cyclists and their cycles of choice, cycle tourism, some lovely Dutch bicycle profiles, a photo essay or two and a couple of interviews. It’s available around the world at top cycling shops, as well as online here. If you do happen to speak Dutch, they also have a well kept blog.
