While browsing at Roden Gray last week, I caught sight of Nanamica’s gorgeous Cycling Pack. As an acolyte of two-wheeled transportation, though recent developments have sadly stopped me from riding, I’m always on the look-out for functional, well-built and well-designed gear. Nanmica’s Cycling Pack succeeds in each respect, although you certainly are paying for it. The bag is built from durable and waterproof Cordura twill with leather trim, ensuring it can keep your stuff dry and safe through a variety of weather conditions. The main compartment is accessed by a roll-down top closed by velcro and secured with a leather strap. I’m a fan of roll-down tops as they provide easy access and adjustable sizing with a high degree of waterproofness. The inside of the main compartment contains a padded laptop enclosure and front of the bag has a vertically accessed smaller pocket for your keys, phone, wallet or flask. Handily, when the bag is swung around under one arm, this pocket turns into a horizontal. Available in either camo and brown or red and blue, Nanamica has produced an excellent bag for the urban cyclist. You can find them at Roden Gray both in-store and online.
