A new label at Vancouver’s Roden Gray this season, Alex Mill is an American brand that aims to provide the high-quality staples that every man needs in his closet with a range from plain t-shirts to printed button-ups and simple jackets. The fabrics are designed and constructed specifically for Alex Mill with the goal of aging well and gaining character – two of our favourite traits in a garment here at the Facing Page. Standout pieces from this season’s collection are the simple crewneck sweater in coral, the bandana print chore shirt and the M43 jacket. I’m particularly drawn to the coral sweater. It’s a classic and useful piece, but the striking colour will give a bit of pop to your winter and spring outfits. For the younger menswear hounds, Alex Mill also produces a collection for boys. You can find selected pieces in store at Roden Gray and the whole collection online at Alex Mill’s website.
